Who We Are
Thunder Bay eSports hosts HinterLAN, a large BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer/Controller) LAN party. Initially run under the name Thunder Bay Area Gamers as TBAGLAN, the first events were organized as small friends-only gatherings; and grew in to a LAN party with over 50 participants. We are now planning for our larger LAN parties, where we hope to consistently have 100 participants and thousands in prizes.
Why Attend a LAN Party
There is nothing like competing face to face against an opponent sitting right next to you, hurling trash talk across the room, or hearing the excitement of a cheering crowd during the final matches of a tournament. Whether you play DOTA II, League of Legends, Overwatch, CS:GO, StarCraft II, or any other competitive game; nothing compares to these experiences, which is why we want to foster this competitive environment in Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario.
How to Reserve a Seat
To reserve your seat or to pay tournament entry, please visit the page below. This year the seat reservations and tournament entries will be seperate costs. Please let us know if you have any questions about this change.
Tournaments
If you haven’t reserved your seats and paid the tournament entry fees, please do so before signing up yourself or your team for a tournament. You can add yourself to a tournament by commenting on the following document. A minimum of three teams are required to run a tournament. If a tournament does not have enough participants, it will be cancelled and all tournament fees refunded.
At the event, please check in with staff at least 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.
